Andrew holds a Masters of Osteopathy from Swansea University and has pursued specialist training in the Lieberman Protocol for the assessment and treatment of the larynx and voice box.
As an enthusiastic actor and singer with a diverse performance history across Europe and America, Andrew's personal experience within the performing arts sparked his interest in Osteopathy. Observing the physical strains and discomfort experienced by performers, he was motivated to understand how to effectively treat these issues and enable individuals to perform at their peak.
This led him to Swansea University's Osteopathy programme, where he gained a comprehensive understanding of various osteopathic approaches and techniques applicable to a wide spectrum of patients from all backgrounds, occupations, and age groups. With a particular interest in occupational injuries and stress-related dysfunctions, coupled with his performance background, Andrew was drawn to further training in the Lieberman Protocol. This specialised method for assessing and treating tension in the vocal structures, known as Laryngeal Manipulative Therapy (LMT), resonated with Andrew's treatment philosophy: achieving and maintaining a comfortable yet effective balance without forcing the body.
Andrew employs a gentle structural approach in his treatments, utilising a range of techniques including joint and harmonic mobilisations, soft tissue therapies, neuromuscular techniques, and joint manipulations. He adopts a progressively intensifying approach to find the optimal balance between comfort and effectiveness for each patient, guiding the body back to a comfortable and healthy state. Passionate about providing the highest standard of care, Andrew enjoys treating patients of all backgrounds, occupations, and ages. He remains committed to staying informed about current aftercare guidelines and regularly attends courses and workshops to further refine and expand his skills.
