Amy graduated from Swansea University with a First Class Honours Masters in Osteopathy.
Having experienced osteopathic treatment as a child, Amy developed a keen interest in the field, which ultimately led her to pursue and complete her degree. Throughout her training, Amy gained experience treating a diverse range of patients, spanning various age groups and presenting with a wide array of complaints.
Amy employs a structural approach in her treatments, utilising gentle hands-on techniques to facilitate a patient's recovery. Her aim is to collaborate with patients to clearly define their primary goals and support their return to normal activities through both treatment and the provision of rehabilitation exercises. Recognising the significant role of overall health and lifestyle in recovery, Amy also prioritises discussing these aspects with her patients. She can offer guidance on implementing lifestyle adjustments to help manage pain and improve their quality of life.
Outside of her osteopathic practice, Amy enjoys playing football and watching matches with her friends and family.
